Pixie is behind the #SaveTheStreet campaign.

We need to fight for our streets before it’s too late.

Save The Street are calling on the government to put in place an ‘Eat out to help out’ style incentive for independent stores, which will significantly help to save our high streets across Britain using the £1.8billion of rates relief returned to the treasury.

Mary Portas, Founder of Portas Agency has also shown her support for a ‘Shop out to help out’ scheme, stating

“A scheme like this will bring a vital lease of life back to the places that mean so much to us all”.

Back in August of last year, Pixie announced our campaign - #SpendSupportSave devised to help support the continuing safe recovery of independent businesses post the first lockdown across Bath.

We have seen how successful a campaign like this can be for the Bath community so urge Rishi Sunak mp to adopt this scheme.

- 81% of small businesses say they haven't had enough support.

- Predictions are that it will take 2-3yrs for independents to get back the money they've lost

"It shouldn't come down to the government alone, we need to take action to help secure the future of our community"

- Greg, Pixie CEO

This being said the smallest changes to our shopping habits can make the biggest impact for our high street.

Get involved! Sign the letter, share your love for independents and continue to shop local and support your community!
