Connecting you with locals and travellers

We know in a world of constant change, growing competition and increasing costs, it's never been harder to run an independent business let alone get customers to know where you are and what you have to offer.

That's why at the centre of what Pixie does is our ability to bring your community and businesses to life so we can easily connect you with people who are looking for what you have to offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can be on Pixie?

Sorry no big boy chains or franchises we’re solely for the independent which is five or less units or stall holders. This is to make sure as much money stays in local economies and doesn't leave the community for some HQ elsewhere.

What types of independent businesses do you have on?

We have several main categories Eat & Drink, Shop, Lifestyle. Visit, Sleep and Services. If your business doesnt fall into one of these categories please get in touch with a memebr of the team. We do have some restrictions on some types of businesses which you can see in our T&C's.

How much does it cost our community to join?

We only charge businesses an annual fee to be on Pixie. As long as your community meets our requirements then we film, photograph and write about your community for free.

What if I have more than one premises ?

That's awesome. We’ll send a photographer over to capture the uniqueness of each location. We can also offer a discount for each additional premises up to our permitted 5. Speak to a member of the team for more details.

We are an independent business but don’t have a physical shop, can we join?

Yes, but at the moment, our marketplace functions only for independent shops with a physical store so we can photograph them. However, you can join the Pixie loyalty program and start accepting Pixie payments straight away. Please get in touch with a team member for more information.

Can I get more photography done?

Absolutely, We pride ourselves on our top quality photography and always want to keep showing your business in its best light. So if you’re a seasonal fashion boutique with a new line or a restaurant with some new dishes give us a shout and for a one off fee we’ll send one of professional photographers along to take those new photos.
