The Coffee Girl
Cute little coffee van based weekdays at the railway station in gorgeous Bradford on Avon.
Having spent 25+ years in interior retail, I’m passionate about aesthetics. Attention to detail is key for me. Creating a cosy feeling when people pick up their take away coffee. I encourage people to chat, take a seat and not rush off.
I love how coffee has become such a big part of our daily routines.
I support independent businesses like Bun in the Oven - Swedish Buns. Didicakes- lovely banana loaf and muffins. The Colombian Company produce the coffee beans and bake some of the artisan cakes. I use Ivy House Farm milk. Delivered fresh to my van. It just feels right to use all locally sourced products.
When I first began to set up The Coffee Girl, I had in my mind I wanted a hang out, somewhere locals could swing by on their walks and drop in on their way to catch their train.
Postcard perfect, it’s easy to see why tourists and locals from neighbouring towns flock to Bradford On Avon — one of Wiltshire’s most gorgeous towns. There is plenty of history within this town — parts of the bridge date back to the 13th century and for six centuries, starting in the 14th century, wool and weaving was the staple industry here. Now, in modern life, many of the shops, cafés and restaurants you visit in Bradford On Avon are the old mills, industrial spaces or even cottages where workers lived.
