The Cakery is a small business with high standards and being part vegetarian cafe, part artisan bakery, owner Ella pretty much has your every need catered for. Located just south of the river in Bath’s stylish and oh so independent Widcombe Parade, The Cakery serve a delicious array of vegetarian and vegan lunches and cakes all baked to perfection by Ella herself every day.
Ethics play a large part in how this cute cafe is run and sustainability is at the forefront of everything they do; ingredients are sourced locally, the coffee is locally roasted by Bean Shot Coffee in Bruton and all their packaging and disposables are fully recyclable. The icing on The Cakery is the array of baking events Ella runs in store, from cupcake decorating to pizza making; you really can have your cake and eat it too.
I am simply committed to producing home-baked goods and lunches using fresh ethical ingredient and adding nothing that's not absolutely necessary. Ethical still tastes delicious!
