Simply Fudge

Having first discovered my love of fudge as a small child making it in my grandmother’s kitchen, I had ambitions from an early age to own a sweet shop! This is the next best thing - producing traditional, no-nonsense, fudge from home and selling it at my local market. Using simple and good quality ingredients, recipes developed from the one-handed down to me from my grandmother and biodegradable packaging, I make a range of flavours of fudge. These include the ever-popular clotted cream and rum and raisin, to the more unusual maple and walnut and mulled cider fudge. I also regularly cook up other traditional sweets such as coconut ice and treacle toffee. If you would like to send fudge by post, I can do this for you, and this can be packaged in an attractive gift box if required.

About

Sherborne

The heart of Sherborne lies in the interesting character in each of it's buildings and the individual characters inside every independent shop and cafe. With the oldest building, The Abbey, dating back as far as AD705, English writers throughout the ages have praised the town's inescapable beauty. Following the footsteps of poets and novelists such as Thomas Hardy and John le Carré, you can still enjoy and discover pockets of architectural beauty from centuries past with a walk through those quaint and rambling streets. Boasting traditional charm and a friendly village atmosphere, the local independents are a winner when it comes to getting a feel for the Sherborne community.
