Didi Cakes

Transported to cake heaven - exactly how you’ll feel during a trip to Didi Cakes, an artisan bakery & cake shop on Walcot Street. Run by a family of bakers, John and his wife Daniella opened Didi Cakes with their daughter Alex in 2017, settling in Bath after gaining years of experience baking for families and businesses across the world. John is a Roux Scholar, just one of 30 chefs awarded the accolade as part of a yearly competition run by the Roux Brothers and his exclusive training is evident in every cake in the shop. From Pecan Praline Cupcakes to 8 inch high Salted Caramel Cakes and Rhubarb and Almond Tarts, the family have taken baking back to basics and then had fun with it. Selling a selection of mouth-watering treats that not only look impressive but taste it too. Buy a freshly baked cake straight off the shelf or order a bespoke creation for a special occasion. And if (god-forbid) sweet things aren’t for you, simply opt for a freshly baked savoury tart or quiche instead, we assure you you won’t be disappointed.

We are a family run business making cakes, cupcakes and desserts right here in our shop, often luring customers in through the door from the aromas of cakes and tarts coming fresh out of the oven.
