So much more than a pub
Perched on the bank of the river Avon, is this impressive 18th century gastro pub. Set on different levels, and boasting some chic decor, its not difficult to see why this is such a hot spot for folks in their multitudes. Set centrally in the exquisite Fordingbridge, it is nigh on impossible to miss... and why would you want to! With the delicious locally sourced food being served on wooden platters (when possible), rustic is the word that comes to mind. Whether you would favour a quiet drink on the riverside decking, or a bite to eat in the summer room, you are guaranteed a view not to be missed.
Owners Caroline and James, and their family of staff do everything in their power to make every customer feel welcomed. Whether it's advice on the extensive list of international wines on offer, or it's a general chit chat about life...their honest and charming reputation, and obvious passion for what they do makes it a guarantee you will be visiting again soon.
We pride ourselves on using great local produce from in and around the New Forest. Caroline & James, Owners
